comment...I have been following the NTTA monthly corridor progress reports regarding the State Hwy 360 project. Lane-Abrams Joint Venture was awarded the contract and construction could start as early as this fall.

Last month I contacted TxDot regarding the possibility of a sound barrier being installed. Per the SH 360 Environmental Assessment approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on January 16, 2014, a sound wall has been proposed along the Webb Britton Estates. The proposed sound wall would be approximately 2,224 feet long and 10 feet in height near the west right of way line from Portland Drive to approximately 251 feet south of Edinburgh St. At a later date, a noise workshop will be conducted by the Design Build Contractor (Lane-Abrams Joint Venture). If the majority of the adjacent property owners vote “yes” for the sound wall, it will be built in that area.

If you live in the corridor impacted by the construction and have questions, please contact Jodi K. Hodges, Public Information Supervisor, Communications Division, TxDot's Fort Worth District. Her email address is Jodi.Hodges@txdot.gov.
